Job Details Job Location: CPA 33 Clinton Drive - Parkersburg, WV 26101 Outside Commercial Sales Representative Wholesale Tire, Inc. is the largest independent tire dealer in West Virginia. We’ve been servicing the state since 1950. We are currently looking for an outside commercial tire sales representative in our Parkersburg location. As an outside commercial sales rep for Wholesale Tire, Inc. you are responsible for growing sales in a defined territory. Your responsibilities are to learn our product lines, call on existing customers, and generate new business. Job Requirements: Maintain existing business and establish prospective business through value driven customer specific product and service recommendations; Manage Heavy Truck, OTR, Agricultural, and Light Truck customer base in given area; Utilize our internal software to build customer profiles, submit orders, and quote customers; Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations; Monitor local competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, and delivery and service capabilities; Ethically meet and exceed sales and profitability expectations; Always represent yourself and company professionally as well as maintain a professional appearance; Willingness to assist with various duties outside of normal functions such as inventory counts, occasional deliveries, store coverage, etc.; Work closely and as a team player with store, distribution, and office support personnel; Perform a variety of manual tasks which may include light and heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, sitting and squatting; Self-schedule and manage time appropriately; Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company supported products and services to provide accurate information to customers; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and negotiation skills; Excellent organizational skills as well as attention to detail; Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to self-start; Ability to prospect new business, form an action plan, and successfully execute it; This document is not a complete list of all tasks and functions.
