Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure that all surfaces are properly coated and free of imperfections
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a painter or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for surface preparation
- Ability to assemble, fabricate, and weld when required
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with working in a warehouse environment is a plus
