At NZME, we’re looking for a Commercial Partnerships Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering some of the country’s most exciting media partnerships. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where your ability to proactively plan, coordinate and execute will be just as important as your creativity and relationship skills. Why this role is exciting You’ll sit at the centre of NZME’s partnerships ecosystem, owning the end-to-end project management of sponsorships and collaborations that drive commercial success, audience growth and brand impact. From initial briefing through to post-campaign reporting, you’ll be the person who ensures everything is scoped clearly, delivered flawlessly and landed on time. This is a role for someone who loves structure, momentum and outcomes, and who gets real satisfaction from seeing a well-run project come together. What you’ll be doing Leading end-to-end project management across an NZME partnership portfolio - planning, coordinating and delivering multiple partnerships simultaneously Ensuring all stakeholders clearly understand deliverables, timelines and opportunities, providing exceptional relationship management Managing promotional plans, talent interviews, leverage activity, collateral, tickets and activations with absolute attention to detail Owning the operational engine of partnerships: work in progress tracking and deadlines, creating runsheets, supporting on-the-ground activation delivery, reporting and post-analysis Acting as the calm, organised connector between clients, internal teams and external partners About you You’re someone who is exceptionally organised, unflappable under pressure and known for getting things done. You’ll bring: Proven experience in project management, sponsorship, brand or partnership roles, ideally within media, marketing or events Outstanding project management skills – you’re confident juggling competing deadlines without losing quality or control A sharp eye for detail, strong systems thinking and a love of tools that keep work on track (Teams, Microsoft Suite, Canva, Copilot and more) Clear, confident communication and the ability to keep stakeholders proactively informed, aligned and engaged A solutions-focused mindset – you spot risks early and act before they become problems A collaborative, positive approach and a genuine desire to be part of something bigger Why NZME?
