OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be adept at using various tools and equipment. This role involves both installation and repair work, requiring a blend of technical expertise and practical skills. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Experience with commercial plumbing systems (domestic experience is a bonus)
  • Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the North West
  • A valid driver’s licence is preferred for travel between job locations. Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks.
  • Conduct assessments of plumbing systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
  • Execute carpentry tasks as needed to support plumbing installations or repairs.
  • Assemble various plumbing components according to specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during each job.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues and solutions regarding their plumbing needs.
  • Participate in an on-call rota (1 week per month)
