WHO WE ARE
VIVO provides facilities management and accommodation maintenance for the UK military and its partners. VIVO embodies both experience and innovation.
WHAT WE DO
We put our Customers and Families First. They are the driving force behind everything we do. We drive forward improvements for them to ensure the service they receive, whether reactive repairs or a major project, is completed safely and on time. In order to achieve this, we have 4 core values: open, caring, agile and collaborative. These are at the heart of everything we do.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED;
We are looking for candidates with recognised plumbing qualifications or at least three years of relevant experience. A solid understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH and RIDDOR, is essential. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be eligible to obtain Security Clearance at the SC level. Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently are key qualities we value. You must be happy to lone work, as this role will be predominantly lone working.
Desirable but not required attributes include experience with mechanical or electrical systems in commercial environments, previous work within the MOD, and qualifications in first aid or health and safety.
Joining VIVO means being part of a growing, forward-thinking organisation committed to supporting the UK’s defence capability. We offer career development opportunities, ongoing training, and the chance to work on varied and meaningful projects where your contribution truly counts.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your plumbing career and want to be part of a team that delivers with purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and minor works on domestic plumbing systems, including married family housing and dormitories, ensuring all activity is completed efficiently and safely in line with our service standards. The role includes scheduled preventative maintenance and urgent reactive tasks across RAF Croughton and RAF Barford St Johns.
As a Plumber, you will work closely with on-site supervisors and a wider team of skilled professionals. Daily tasks will be assigned using a tablet or paper-based instruction which you will then travel to in your provided company van and you will be expected to complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
