Our Commercial Department is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

OUR IDEAL COMMERCIAL PLUMBING JOURNEYPERSON:

We’re looking for someone who can manage these responsibilities:

  • Rough-ins, groundworks and installing of new plumbing systems in commercial buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions
  • Lead and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and hands-on training
  • Perform system tests using air and water pressure gauges to detect leaks and other issues
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on job sites
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations

And who can meet these qualifications:

  • Journeyman Plumber certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of commercial plumbing experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical capability to perform plumbing tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
