As a Commercial Process Specialist in the Commercial Excellence & Growth team, you will build valuable expertise in commercial operations, processes, and systems while contributing to work that supports our business across regions. More about the role In this role, you will help support and strengthen Svitzer’s leading position in the towage industry. Based in Mumbai, you will report to the Commercial BPO and join a close-knit team of five, including your manager. From Mumbai, the team supports the Global Commercial organisation, with headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, and collaborates with colleagues across regions. You will join an ambitious and international organisation with a collaborative and relatively flat structure, where your ideas and initiative are valued. Together with your local team in Mumbai, you will help drive customer centricity globally by supporting regional and local teams. Commercial Process Specialists play an important role in administrative and operational delivery and are responsible for maintaining high-quality, timely, and accurate data in our commercial operations system. The role includes flexibility in working hours, as the Mumbai team supports regional offices in Copenhagen, Dubai, Panama and Sydney. We value in-person collaboration and expect colleagues to work from the office most of the time, while also offering flexibility to work from home when needed. Responsibilities Maintenance and daily update of the main commercial system (called "Helm"), ensuring database is kept up to date, with data quality and integrity maintained across all operations. This may include liaising with colleagues from all over the world and across different functions. More specifically, you will: Handle daily invoicing in HELM. Support commercial operations processes by handling system issues and enquiries, escalating when needed, and partnering with system consultants and internal stakeholders to resolve matters efficiently. Develop and continuously evaluate ‘Order to Cash’ process and identify possibilities to improve Svitzer ‘Order to Cash’ process and data transparency. Ensure the processes as well as related SOPs are well mapped and documented. Support regions in process and system implementations with Customer Experience and risk mitigation in mind, including provision of standard reports. Be involved in commercial related key internal controls; coordinate and/or guide finance Global Business Services colleagues based in Krakow, Poland. Drive continuous improvement actions to perform daily execution tasks more efficiently and effectively, such as taking care of incoming system queries and daily invoicing. Support and, where relevant, lead projects, improvement initiatives, and change activities within the commercial operations area. You take ownership of tasks from start to finish and are comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
