JOB DESCRIPTION

The Commercial Property Manager leads the development and execution of our Commercial Property Management (PM) platform, building out the commercial infrastructure - including full implementation of our Yardi commercial PMS - and serve as the subject matter expert for all commercial property operations. Success in this role requires innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and operational excellence while managing a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial properties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel to multiple sites.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of a College Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • At least 7 years of experience in property management, including 5+ years in commercial/industrial PM.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building or enhancing commercial PM platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi; system implementation experience is a strong asset.
  • Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and lease administration.
  • Experience in multi-use environments (retail, office, industrial) is preferred.
