Description

Commercial Property Associate / Senior Associate
An expanding Property Department in North London is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Associate or Senior Associate to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling commercial property transactions and providing strategic advice to investors, developers, landlords, and tenants.
Seeking a proactive individual who consistently delivers high-quality client service and has the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. While a loyal client base or referrer following would be an advantage, it is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
  • Freehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Leasehold assignments and new leases
  • Refinancing transactions
  • Providing strategic legal advice to clients, including investors, developers, landlords, and tenants.
  • Independently managing a caseload while also actively developing new business and expanding professional networks.
  • Building strong relationships with local agents and referrers to generate new work opportunities.
  • Contributing to business development efforts, including attending marketing and networking events and creating content for newsletters and legal updates.
  • Maintaining positive client and referrer relationships, ensuring excellent service and regular feedback.
  • Taking an active role in the growth and development of the department, mentoring trainees and paralegals.
  • Handling direct client interactions, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations effectively.
  • Working collaboratively with partners and solicitors to enhance client relationship skills.
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA principles and professional conduct rules.
  • Adhering to firm-wide risk management policies and procedures.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to progress within a growing and supportive team. If you’re a driven and commercially minded property solicitor looking for the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you!
