Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Commercial Proposition Specialist is responsible for understanding our performance, providing analysis to inform decision making and delivering our Base and Revenue KPIs. You will be responsible for devising customer offers and promotions that will drive sustainable & profitable acquisition of new customers. You will work with our Devices team and Sales Channels to ensure we have compelling customer pricing and acquisition strategies to hit targets. Working with the Product Owner you will be responsible for our customer trading, forecasting, and providing commercial support to colleagues. You will be empowered to develop and bring to market new ideas to enhance our product offering and customer experience. For this you will demonstrate strong attention to detail, be highly structured in your approach & have a passion for working with and communicating with others.

ESSENCE OF ROLE – KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for understanding the buying habits of our customers – where do they search and how do they buy
Responsible for pricing our handsets and managing our handset investment, working with the Devices team and within commercial guidelines
Responsible for devising our monthly offers and bigger promotional offers. Working with the Proposition Specialist to complete Go-To-Market activities for these offers
Responsible for achieving our base inflow targets, amending plan as needed to hit targets
Working with our Sales Channels and Distribution team to create channel targets and review incentives
Preparing analysis (weekly and monthly reporting as well as ad hoc deep dives) and providing insight on base and revenue performance for review and to inform decision making
Work with the product owner to create the annual customer & financial detailed budget (DB) for our portfolio. You will review the forecast monthly and update where appropriate
You will monitor & track commercial performance against the annual budget plan taking pride in explaining success in the “what & why” and understanding and course correcting the “why not”
Completing Business Cases and working with colleagues providing commercial support
