    We are seeking an ambitious, high-performing Commercial Real Estate Lawyer/Associate, ideally 2-4 PQE to join our team Sydney CBD office. This role affords the successful candidate the opportunity to grow and develop under the mentorship of an industry leader in Real Estate, Richard Abbott. Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage property acquisitions and disposals, including drafting and negotiating contracts and conducting due diligence.
  • Handle acquisitions and disposals of property companies and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Provide legal advice on property construction and development matters, including zoning laws, permits, and land use issues.
  • Oversee property finance transactions, including mortgage agreements and refinancing.
  • Negotiate and draft Project Delivery and Development Management Agreements.
  • Undertake transaction structuring to optimise outcomes for clients.
  • Perform titling and subdivision analysis.
  • Deal with varying forms of property syndication and joint ventures.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE;

  • 2-4 years PQE with experience in the commercial real estate area
  • An excellent academic record with strong legal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A well developed commercial acumen
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A “can do” attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst also autonomously at times
