General Job Summary: As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you will be a front-line ambassador of our deposit-first strategy. You’ll deepen existing client relationships, actively build new ones, and deliver white-glove service that sets New Horizon apart. This is a role for a self-starter who thrives on business development, loves competing for market share, and wants to be part of a high-performance, growth-driven team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive Deposits First: Proactively develop new commercial and consumer deposit relationships. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of business through consistent calling, networking, and community involvement. Deliver White-Glove Service: Manage a portfolio of business clients, ensuring every interaction reflects concierge-level care. Anticipate client needs, resolve issues quickly, and uncover opportunities to expand relationships. Partner for Growth: Collaborate with Commercial Lenders, Treasury Management, and Branch teams to maximize deposit, treasury, and lending opportunities. Bring creative solutions that strengthen client relationships. Be Present in the Community: Represent New Horizon Bank in chambers, civic organizations, boards, and community events. Build influence, deepen local connections, and position the Bank as a growth-oriented partner. Analyze & Advise: Review financials and client needs to recommend deposit, treasury, and lending solutions that align with their goals. Create and deliver proposals that drive results. Cross-Sell Relentlessly: Look for opportunities across the full spectrum of NHB products and services—every banker sells. Execute with Hustle: Maintain activity and performance metrics tied to deposit growth, calling efforts, and relationship profitability. Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven track record in commercial banking, relationship management, or business development. Strong knowledge of deposits, treasury management, and commercial lending. Deep community presence and willingness to be highly visible in the market. Hustle, grit, and competitive drive—comfortable owning aggressive deposit and relationship goals. Ability to balance strategic thinking with flawless execution and follow-through. Strong financial acumen and communication skills.
