The Platform have an international presence in the world’s major producing and consuming regions and originate, handle, store, transform and merchandize products across the spectrum of Grains and Oilseeds products. Palm oil is one of the major product line under G&O Platform with strong asset and trading focus in Asia region. Job Description Main Responsibilities: Reporting to Head of G&O Distribution – Southeast Asia: Cash pricing / merchandising of G&O products (Meal, Corn, Wheat amongst others), in coordination with rest of the team / product lines in Asia and globally. Take ownership of G&O product flow, pricing, negotiation of trades, overview and optimization of executions, and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders. Develop and strengthen commercial relationships / partnerships with LDC existing and potential customers Analyze, synthetize and disseminate to relevant parties market/customer/activity information. Internally, actively contribute to global discussions via participation to chats/calls Lead research coordination for Thailand and other regions as assigned. Balance sheet updates, synthesis/communication to group. Contribute to providing the product lines with access to liquidity at destination / maximizing sales volume. Challenge, monitor and optimize existing trade related items (freight, logistics, terms). Support LDC growth in the region by proposing / identifying business development & investment opportunities Qualifications Experience 5+ years experiences in agribusiness or related industry (commodities, feed, flour, food, etc) in SEAsia Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and to prioritize. Self-starter with ability to work independently and to take initiative; proactive attitude toward problems Ability to work in a high-pressure atmosphere. Flexibility on working time.
