Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Account Manager to join the Interfish Team for maternity cover.
This dynamic role presents a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business while working cross-functionally to achieve key objectives. You will play a vital role in driving commercial performance by managing key retail customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and overseeing critical functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly analytical, and confident operating in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor market trends, product innovation, and pricing changes across the retail sector.
  • Deliver up-to-date sales analysis for key product categories.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of select key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Promote effective internal communication of new product development (NPD) and promotional activity.
  • Communicate Interfish supply performance and service levels to key accounts.
  • Collaborate with costing and technical teams to produce accurate, competitive tenders and bids.
  • Drive NPD initiatives with existing customers.
  • Develop new business opportunities.
  • Promote the company’s values around responsible fishing, sustainability, and ethical business practices to customers.
  • Maintain and manage the own-brand website, ensuring product listings and content are up to date.
  • Drive and execute online sales through the website.
