As an award-winning and iconic Tourist Destination, we are continually innovating our brand and guest experience, and in 2025 will launch a new attraction – Astra Lumina. We are now seeking Casual Commercial Outlets Attendants to support our food and beverage and retail offerings, as part of this enchanting new experience! Astra Lumina is an enchanting night walk experience that seamlessly blends art, nature, and technology to inspire and captivate guests. Our Commercial Outlets Attendants will work across our commercial outlets, offering exceptional guest service ensuring that Astra Lumina guest has a memorable and positive experience.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have previous customer service (either F&B or retail) experience, preferably within the tourism, events, or hospitality industry. Other skills we are looking for include:

• Effective communication and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people from different backgrounds
• Superior customer service and presentation
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Attainment
• Experience using point of sale systems and responsible cash handling
• Driver’s License is an advantage (for buggy use in park)
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the attraction’s operating hours
• Be prepared to work in an outdoor environment, with walking and lifting necessary, and in a workplace that has native wildlife such as birds and reptiles

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a friendly and service focused Commercial Outlet Attendant you will support out operations through the delivery of efficient and genuine service in our commercial outlets across both our Currumbin Wild Sanctuary & Astra Lumina experiences. You will ensure high level of guest service and product knowledge and upselling alongside providing efficient delivery of service to a very high standard. Your will also support creating memorable guest experiences by providing friendly assistance, answering questions, and proactively engaging with guests to enhance their journey.
As part of a whole-team approach, our Commercial Outlet Attendants will assist with evening operations, including supporting guest experience and trail teams and photography sales, and other tasks to maintain the overall experience and to ensure that every guest has an unforgettable Astra Lumina journey.
