As an Outside Commercial Sales Associate, you are an extrovert that thrives in a constantly changing and fast paced environment.
Your ability to establish rapport quickly with others will unquestionably compliment your desire to thrive in this commission sales environment (with guaranteed wage).
You will develop and assist customers with their project purchases through relationship selling; pipeline development; cold calling; continuously learn about our product lines; enjoy working in an independent role while achieving personal goals. Together with your team, you will maintain your area to ensure company merchandising standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily work in the field networking for business accounts and business relationships. Specifically, in the commercial market, building and construction area.
- Actively seek and sign new commercial accounts
- Explain policies to customers in order for them to make informed decisions
- Upgrade customers with added value products and services
- Maintain adequate levels of product knowledge
- Achieve specific sales targets
- Provide outstanding customer service
Qualifications:
- Strong networking skills with the ability to build long term customer relationships
- 2 years Sales or Customer Service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
- Self-motivated and highly developed time management skills
