JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, ensuring each occasion runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
  • A creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • A valid driver’s licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage event plans from conception to execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and preferences for each event.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place for a successful event.
  • Manage on-site operations during events, addressing any issues that may arise promptly.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
  • Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and communications.
