We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic real estate professional to join our team as a Commercial Sales & Leasing Associate (Real Estate)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare thoughtful analyses of clients’ properties, including opinions of value, market comparable, and research
  • Research the local market and staying up to date on industry trends
  • Develop real estate marketing materials
  • Prepare and present written service proposals to potential clients or to the senior management of potential clients
  • Market leasing or sales listing internally, externally, and to potential tenants or buyers, investors
  • Organize and show properties to prospective tenants or buyers
  • Manage key handover and other field duties
  • Prepare service and sales contracts, leasing agreements and ensure their successful implementation;
  • Coordinate the communications between the decision-makers, property owners and other stakeholders in the real estate transaction
  • Help negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of clients to ensure favorable terms
  • Maintain a database of all interactions made
  • Prepare supporting documentation for real estate transactions (Deal Reporting Sheet, FINTRAC, all BCFSA required documents) for compliance purposes
  • Manage administrative tasks related to real estate transactions, including documentation and record-keeping
  • Other duties and projects may be assigned based on business operational needs

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leasing and sales role, with a strong understanding of applicable British Columbia legislative requirements. Candidates must hold valid and active Real Estate Trading and Rental Management Licenses issued by the BCFSA. Applicants with only a Trading License may obtain the Rental Management License during employment
  • Able to work independently and effectively with minimum supervision and within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a successful track record of working with clients at all levels
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A resourceful thinker with exceptional time management and organizational skills who is always up for a challenge
  • Dress and present yourself appropriately and professionally for an office setting
  • Take initiative and continuously seek ways to improve skills, productivity and client engagement
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to change, and new technologies
  • BC Driver’s license and an insured vehicle
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work outside regular business hours, if needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
