We are seeking a results-driven professional to support revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, effective commercial management, and the development of strong client relationships. This role will involve leading key account management, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and contributing to the company’s overall commercial strategy. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • A degree in a Relevant Field (e.g., business, marketing, immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, or biomedical science).
  • Demonstrated experience in a commercial sales role, preferably within the healthcare, diagnostics, or in vitro diagnostics industry.
  • Experience in technical sales, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth in a competitive commercial environment.
  • Knowledge of preparing and submitting tenders, quotes, and proposals to secure large-scale business contracts (preferred but not essential).
  • Familiarity with NHS procurement processes and departmental structures to effectively navigate and secure sales within the healthcare system.
  • Strong experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage leads, track performance, and improve sales outcomes.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Standards, such as ISO13485 and ISO9001, to ensure compliance in product sales and service delivery.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and develop effective strategies for business development and growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present, negotiate, and maintain customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with standard office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as financial analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address customer complaints and operational challenges.
  • Full driving license required

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue growth through targeted customer visits, strategic business development initiatives, and the identification of new sales opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture key customer accounts across Diagnostics, Allergy, Dermatology, Immunohistochemistry, and emerging product divisions.
  • Execute strategic sales plans in alignment with broader commercial objectives and targets.
  • Deliver high-quality support and customer service to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Identify and capitalise on market expansion opportunities, including product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Lead cross-functional teams during exhibitions, training workshops, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and strengthen market presence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) to track customer interactions, sales activities, and key account progress.
  • Support the Head of Commercial Sales and Marketing in preparing quotations, tenders, and standing order contracts to secure profitable business deals.
  • Build relationships with pathology service providers and introduce company offerings as third-party solutions.
  • Respond promptly to technical and sales-related customer inquiries, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer feedback and resolve complaints, supporting continuous service improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Sales and Marketing and Finance Director to support pricing strategy, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Contribute to the identification and development of new product opportunities to enhance the company’s portfolio.

POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide customers with on-site support for product installations and deliver technical training as part of the onboarding process.
  • Organise and lead customer-facing training workshops and seminars focused on specialised product areas.
