Description Job Summary: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for building the customer base of Bosselman Energy to commercial (B2B) accounts while maintaining relationships with existing accounts. This position will identify, develop, and manage key supplier and customer relationships while promoting other businesses under the Bosselman Energy Companies umbrella. Primary Job Duties: · Adhere to the company’s Vision and Core Values. · Adhere and comply with the company’s handbook and company policies. · Maintain and grow customer relationships and business opportunities for assigned region. · Maintain customer confidence through the development of positive supplier and customer relationships. · Lead customer negotiations including preparation and execution of contracts. · Interpret, develop, and negotiate intricate agreements; influencing long-term sales contracts. · Participate in company-sponsored activities and professional associations to ensure an active and effective outreach program in the community. · Promote new programs, products and services to meet annual business plans and growth objectives. · Maintain an active and accurate customer contact database for all assigned customers for reporting of customer activities, marketing conditions, and promotional materials. · Act as a liaison for ensuring customer satisfaction during resolution of product, service or billing issues. · Work with key departments to identify and analyze logistic issues and provide solutions to address a variety of complex supplier and customer transportation-related issues. · Execute daily, short term and long-term marketing objectives and provide scheduled follow-up. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications/Preference: Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience: · Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development and outside sales, with knowledge of professional selling techniques, negotiation techniques, and account development strategies. · Previous work in fuels/lubricants and knowledge of the fuel industry and supplier requirements, preferred. Certificate, Licenses, Registrations: · Current Driver’s License required. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: · Ability to read, write, and understand English required. · Ability to read and understand P&L statements and determine ROI when negotiating. · Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) · Strong customer orientation and focus with hands-on experience working directly with customers. · Ability to build rapport with clients and listen to their needs to create customized client solutions. · Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team atmosphere with many departments. Other Essential Functions: · Ability to have regular and consistent attendance at work. · Travel 90% of the time is required. · Specific vision abilities for this job include close, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus required.
