Position Summary: Platinum Pest Solutions, a leading pest control provider specializing in multi-family and commercial properties, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on new business development within industrial and commercial sectors, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will identify prospective customers, conduct on-site inspections, present tailored pest control solutions, and negotiate service agreements that meet client needs while achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales, a strong “hunter” mentality, and the ability to deliver customized solutions to key decision-makers. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively generate new leads through networking, referrals, and field visits, identifying opportunities in target commercial verticals. Sales Process Management: Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to understand client-specific needs and develop comprehensive, customized service proposals. Relationship Building & Closing: Present and sell tailored pest control solutions to decision-makers (e.g., facility managers, operations leaders), negotiate contracts, and effectively close deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Collaboration & Service Assurance: Work closely with the service and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Market & Industry Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements specific to commercial pest control in the Chicago area. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM (Pipedrive) software. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hunting and closing new business; experience in pest control, facilities services, or related fields preferred Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver’s license with a history of responsible driving Ability to obtain state-specific pesticide license within 90 days of employment Preferred Attributes: Flexible schedule and availability Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to travel regionally to meet clients and prospects (significant driving required)
