Job Description:
The Commercial Finance Senior Analyst will be an essential business partner to the Germany & Nordic Markets. These markets are the largest and most strategically important in the Northern Europe cluster.
Your in-depth understanding of the FMCG landscape—brands, categories, customers, and markets—and your comprehensive knowledge of all functional areas within General Mills (factory, region, supply chain, marketing, and sales) will be crucial.
Owning the financial delivery of the Global Emerging Markets (GEMS), providing critical decision support, robust analysis, and proactively identifying business opportunities to achieve market goals aligned with the General Mills International Segment global strategy.
You will serve as a key business partner to market managers, guiding them on financial performance and acting as the custodian of the monthly business rhythm (PEAK process). This will involve working closely with market managers to ensure the delivery of financial commitments.
You will provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to influence the cluster lead. You will proactively develop and utilise analytical techniques and models to inform strategic business decisions. This will involve supporting market managers in key areas such as annual agreements, new product development (NPD), trade and marketing investments, SKU and customer profitability analysis, and various brand/country/customer special projects as needed.
