Responsible for mounting, dismounting, balancing and repairs.       JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  · Customer vehicles; Inspects and diagnose service and tire problems. Communicate necessary repairs and/or replacement of parts, recommend additional preventative services and helps sell services to the customer, if warranted.  · Provides excellent customer service to existing accounts by staying in touch, immediate follow-up and resolving issues  · Completes service orders; process tickets, invoices and bills out customers, verifies credit status of customer, makes billing adjustments, initiates purchase orders for parts, assist with updating information on the computer and maintains records/files for follow-up  · Operate air compressor, impact gun, hub-cab hammer and other various machines and tools  · Maintains vehicle cleanliness and mechanical maintenance, and ensures vehicle registration, insurance, safety and OSHA materials and devices are up-to-date.  · Tire work (retail and/or commercial, on and off site)  · Active role in product and service sales  · Mount and dismount, air pressure checks and repairs  · Ensures lug nuts are tightened to the proper torque specifications  · Demonstrates proven ability to take after hours calls in an effective and efficient manner.   · Proficient in the larger truck and the equipment needed on the larger trucks.   · Supports Company safety and operational standards and adheres to all requirements.   · Completes all necessary training (MSHA, OTR, AG, Industrial, as applicable)  · Maintains equipment with the highest regard  · Demonstrates over a 6 month period the ability to conform to DOT and Commercial Tire driving requirement and follow applicable Company Policies.   · Ability to look up fluid volumes for tire size  · Operate bead breakers and transfer pumps safely  · All other duties as assigned    COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS  · Customer Service  · Interpersonal Savvy  · Communication  · Mechanical Skills · Self Starter  · Computer Skills       QUALIFICATIONS– UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE, THESE ARE THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES THAT ARE PREFERRED  · A valid driver’s license (required) and all DOT Documents to include medical card to operate vehicles greater than 10,000 #s  · Insurable driving record (required)  · High school diploma or equivalent  · 1-2 years of tire industry related experience.   · TIA Training for CST
