Description Commercial Solar/Electrical Superintendent – Field Leadership Role Location: Albuquerque, NM (Extensive Travel Required) Company: OE Solar OE Solar is seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Solar Superintendent to lead field crews on commercial-scale solar projects throughout New Mexico and beyond. This is a critical leadership role that requires sharp technical expertise, strong people management skills, and the ability to think two steps ahead on complex, fast-paced job sites. The Superintendent will be responsible for setting the standard for safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism in the field. This role requires the ability to motivate and mentor crews, hold teams accountable, coordinate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, and proactively resolve challenges before they impact schedule or budget. Successful candidates will demonstrate confident decision-making, clear communication, and a hands-on leadership style that drives projects forward while maintaining a positive, high-performing team environment. What You'll Do: Interpret and work from electrical schematics, site plans, and technical documentation. Lead and supervise installation teams on commercial solar projects. Plan for upcoming phases by coordinating labor, tools, materials, and equipment. Manage materials in our Online Management software Kojo Operate and train others on heavy machinery. Monitor and enforce job site safety protocols (OSHA compliance). Address personnel issues and report them to HR as needed. Maintain high accountability and performance standards across your crews. Maintain your EE98J license and OSHA 30 Requirements What You Bring: OSHA 30 Certification (required). EE98J License Required (or NABCEP Certification as an alternative). GB98 is preferred. Strong background in electrical or commercial construction (solar preferred). Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics with ease. Read and interpret full electrical plan sets, site layouts and construction drawings, to include erecting steel, racking systems, grading, grubbing, SWPP etc. Excellent leadership Skills Ability to travel extensively and work full-time in a field-based role.
