- Provide commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice on a wide range of areas affecting the business including employment, marketing, technology, data protection, and regulatory matters.
- Management of construction and property related matters (as SIRO is building a telecommunications network).
- Operate as a key business partner by identifying risks and collaborating with cross functional teams across all pillars of the business.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Ireland and the EU, particularly those related to telecommunications and technology, cyber security, data protection (GDPR), and planning and property law.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Qualified solicitor in Ireland (or equivalent qualification within the EU) with 5+ years PQE.
- Ideally, you will have in-house experience working closely with a senior management team with exposure to complex commercial contracts, property, technology and procurement agreements.
- Ability to provide sound commercial and legal judgment across a range of legal fields.
- Experience in leading on corporate governance protocols, company policies and templates.
- Business-minded – you will be adept at keeping stakeholders engaged at all steps of the process and shifting focus to align with business needs.
- High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to promoting a culture of compliance and transparency.
- An open, flexible, and adaptable approach to work and management of relationships in a small company environment.
If you are interested in the role, we would like to hear from you. We are a flexible business and are interested in hearing from people at various stages of their careers, including those who are thinking of returning to work and/or seeking a better work life balance. Please send a copy of your CV together with a covering letter telling us what you have been doing in the past year and we will be in touch.
