Description

Overview:
The Senior Director, Demand Accelerator for International Beverages will lead the development, deployment and scaling of commercial growth capabilities for DX across all international markets. This role will focus on unlocking market-specific value through advanced Demand Accelerator levers—such as shopper insights, category growth platforms, digital services and solutions and online and in-store perfect store execution—while enabling Omni channel commercial planning across brand, channel, and customer strategies. The role will work closely with global, OU and S&T teams to embed scalable solutions, drive commercial transformation for DX agenda and elevate execution across PepsiCo’s International Beverages portfolio.
Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver a Strong Omni Channel Strategy to Accelerate Growth
  • Lead the deployment and expansion of PepsiCo’s Demand Accelerator (DX) capabilities across IB markets—including Data and Analytics, Category Management, Shopper Insights, Digital Solutions, Perfect Store and Perfect Digital Store Activation.
  • Develop deployment roadmaps and GCC service model tailored to Franchise based on market maturity, opportunity, and bottler readiness.
  • Partner with commercial teams to drive embedment of DX and Digital Commerce tools and processes, ensuring value delivery through retailer execution and consumer conversion.
  1. Commercial Integration & Growth Planning
  • Serve as a strategic link between multiple functions to ensure seamless commercial plan integration into Bottler JBPs for DX capabilities
  • Partner with Bottlers and local teams to co-create joint commercial plans and build routines that ensure cross-functional alignment from strategy to store.

3.Capability Development & Governance

  • Build, scale, and govern consistent DX operating models, KPIs, and routines across IB markets.
  • Lead capability building and knowledge transfer initiatives by setting up knowledge and best practice hubs for Bottlers using platforms like Ada
  • Drive engagement across the global DX community and champion a learning culture through continuous performance tracking and feedback loops.
  1. Cross-Market Transformation & Value Delivery
  • Act as the transformation lead for DX capability uplift, partnering with markets to execute high-impact pilots and scale proven initiatives.
  • Establish governance and reporting mechanisms to monitor adoption, measure impact, and track value realization.
  • Integrate DX into broader sector initiatives such as roll-out of the Growth Navigator Metrics as well as partner closely with RGM, GTM, and Strategy teams to unlock End to End commercial synergies.
  1. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead a team of DX and commercial integration experts, while fostering a culture of curiosity, impact, and shared success.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across markets, bottlers, and sector functions to align on growth bets and mobilize execution.
  • Support talent development across IB’s commercial organization, with a focus on next-generation capability leaders.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in Shopper Marketing, category management, trade activation and commercial strategy within FMCG or Beverage sectors.
  • Experience of leading digitally enabled commercial transformation across multiple international markets is required, with a strong understanding of category dynamics, execution levers, and bottler/distributor partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in driving integrated commercial execution across brand, channel, and customer strategies.
  • Proven experience leading multi-market programs and commercial transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed environments.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep commercial acumen with a strong understanding of shopper behavior, category drivers, and execution levers across channels.
  • Strong knowledge of internal and external data and digital ecosystems with proven track record of deploying and scaling digital solutions across multiple markets
  • Strong capability-building orientation, with the ability to develop and scale frameworks, toolkits, and operating models.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complexity and translate ideas into executable plans.
  • Strong influencing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional, or virtual teams in a global context.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
