POSITION OVERVIEW
The Associate Director of Strategic Client Initiatives will work closely with the EG management team and business unit leaders to pursue significant commercial opportunities for the firm. This role cuts across various aspects of our business – from sales and client service, to advisory research, events, and media. The individual we hire will be responsible for helping construct large proposals in pursuit of a diverse range of new or expanded business with clients and prospects. They will need to be able to learn quickly about what EG does and how our business is evolving, and then build on that knowledge to think creatively and move fast to construct new commercial proposals and pitches for clients and prospects.
Key elements of this role include organizing internal processes to monitor and push forward large commercial opportunities, providing administrative and organizational support to executive leadership, evaluating top client engagements for their sustainability and growth potential, and assessing the global competitive environment. The role requires someone with agility and eagerness, combined with very strong organizational and project management skills. The person in this role must be able to work diplomatically and effectively within a dynamic and growing matrix organization.
This person can work out of our Washington DC, New York City, or London offices.
