Location: Panama City Work Type: 3 days in office / 2 Home Office Position Description: The Commercial Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s overall supply chain operations.
This includes planning, implementing, and monitoring all supply chain activities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
Functions, Duties, Tasks: Proactively manage inventory to meet business objectives while adhering to established minimum and maximum levels.
This involves: * Calculating and regularly reviewing optimal safety stock levels, standard order quantities, and reorder points.
Deliver outstanding customer service by leading a highly effective S&OP process, ensuring forecast accuracy, driving consensus across the organization, and proactively managing inventory to minimize risk.
Drive successful new product launches and support innovation initiatives by ensuring optimal inventory availability.
This involves: * Understanding and leveraging required SAP data to effectively manage initial product supply, anticipating potential challenges and implementing solutions proactively.
Proactively ensure all work activities are conducted in full compliance with established local and global policies and procedures.
Develop deep expertise in supply and replenishment processes to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) within the affiliate.
Collaborate effectively with the local quality team to manage product recalls, relabeling efforts, and other actions required to address non-technical marketing (NTM) challenges.
Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications): * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional Preferences: * Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA.
