Commercial Support Manager Full Time & Permanent Hybrid 37.5 hours a week Office Location - Aylesbury & High Wycombe Salary of upto £30,000 A quick look at the role. This role supports the management of relationships between Biffa and its subcontracted service partners. Responsibilities include price negotiation, onboarding new products, and desk-based supplier management for partners with an annual spend under £150k. The role also ensures suppliers meet agreed KPIs and SLAs, maintain compliance standards, and manages background data and pricing tables for suppliers overseen by the Commercial Managers. Your core responsibilities Act as a key point of contact between the business and a portfolio of subcontracted service partners Support Commercial Managers with supplier strategy, service performance, compliance, and pricing negotiations Manage a portfolio of suppliers with annual spend under £150k, ensuring strong commercial and operational performance Maintain and manage supplier data, pricing tables, and account information Negotiate improved commercial terms, including annual cost increases such as landfill tax Implement and manage SLAs and KPIs to drive supplier performance Resolve supplier invoice queries in collaboration with the invoice reconciliation team Produce clear commercial reporting to identify opportunities and risks across your patch Provide full administrative support across all aspects of supplier management Our essential requirements Strong attention to detail with a compliance-driven mindset Confident, articulate communicator with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships Analytical and commercially minded, able to assess issues, interpret financial data, and deliver practical solutions Proven experience managing suppliers and delivering against KPIs Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines Organised and proactive, able to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution to achieve positive outcomes Trustworthy and professional, with the ability to handle confidential information Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, with flexibility to travel and a willingness to develop Changing the way people think about waste.
