Dismounting and mounting any type of tire on drop center, semi-drop center and multi-piece rims. Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements. Determining repairable tire conditions and making such repairs. Removing tires for retreading or repair as needed. Properly executing required billing documents. Complying with DOT regulations. Following all safety and driving rules. What boxes you have to check: Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers. Must be a self-starter and be able to work without direct supervision. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history Repetitive lifting, occasionally up to 75-100 pounds High school GED preferred.
Responsibilities
The Commercial Tire Technician will perform roadside and off-road service calls, including mounting and dismounting tires, inflating tires, and making repairs. They will also ensure compliance with DOT regulations and follow safety and driving rules.
