What you will do: The Truck Driver (Class A) loads and unloads refrigerated trailers and delivers dairy products to various locations. Additionally, the driver is also responsible for the housekeeping of the trucks, including cleaning, washing, and ensuring TCCA equipment is at its highest level of safety, dependability, and appearance. Here’s a day in the life: Operate trucks and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times. Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Must have a good general knowledge of DOT regulations. Must have experience driving combination vehicles in all weather conditions. Performs all other duties as assigned as needed. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and supervisors. Ability to communicate effectively. Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of MS Outlook and be able to enter information into a database. Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: A high school diploma or GED is required; must have a valid CDL and satisfactory driving record. 3-5 years of previous commercial vehicle driving. Physical Requirements: Administration Individual work space, desk and computer. May not be temperature controlled, could have loud background noises. May include entering production facility and walking on uneven, slippery surfaces and encountering forklift traffic. Requires sitting majority of shift; can include standing and walking to accomplish tasks. May require stooping, bending, and crouching to file, retrieve supplies. Occasional lifting of 25 pounds. Production Space can be crowded with manufacturing equipment. Must remain aware of forklift traffic. Noisy; some areas can be dusty. May encounter extremes in temperature. Requires sitting most of shift, occasionally walking on uneven, slippery surfaces. Duties may include lifting up to 80-100 pounds and maneuvering heavy equipment and/or parts. Responsibilities

The Commercial Truck Driver (Class A) is responsible for loading and unloading refrigerated trailers, delivering dairy products to various locations, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the trucks and TCCA equipment. This role also requires operating trucks safely, providing excellent customer service during deliveries, and maintaining all required DOT and OSHA certifications.
