Wojan Window & Door Corp. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Coldwater, Michigan. This is a full-time, heavy travel position, and when not on the road, will be expected to be in the Coldwater facility. The Field Service Technician must be able to work in a variety of environments and quickly solve problems. Window instillation and glazing experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Work from scaffolding, ladders, lifts, and related equipment for glass installation and exterior caulking. Previous experience and certificates preferred.
· Previous experience in window installation and glazing is preferred.
· Previous experience in window assembly and fabrication is also preferred
· Lift 100 plus pounds as required.
· Have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive anywhere in the continental US.
· Have the ability to fly commercial airlines to job sites as required
· Knowledge of construction and power tools, and glaziers’ tools and equipment
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
· Must be willing and able to travel and be away from home for up to two weeks at a time.
· Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels
· Computer skills a plus, regarding use of Word, Excel and other office programs.
This is a full-time position, with approximately half your time spent in the plant and half your time on the road. Salary to be based on verifiable skills and experience. Full benefits package and generous 401K available after 60 days.

· Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance while traveling.
· Repair windows: replace/adjust hardware, replace glass, fix caulking, etc.
· Work with Engineering and Quality departments to analyze field conditions and create plans for field remediation by Wojan staff or with sub-contractors.
· Work with Engineering on in-house testing, product development and help develop best practices.
· Assist Sales and Engineering in field testing, both internally and on job sites.
· Assist customer service by coordinating field visits and sub-contractors’ schedule and scope of work when required.
· Generate expense reports as incurred on field trips for yourself and team members
