Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis with a strong interest or background in Arabic cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and presentation of traditional and modern Arabic dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and quality.

Previous experience in Arabic cuisine, preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant

  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and team spirit
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Culinary diploma or certification is an advantag
Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and cooking authentic Arabic dishes under the supervision of senior chefs, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure proper measurement, preparation, and storage of ingredients, reporting any spoilage or shortages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
  • Support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and assisting with receiving and storing supplies.
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards as per HACCP guidelines.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members and support other sections when needed.
