Apt Resources is seeking a talented and motivated Commis 1 Butcher to join the culinary team at a prestigious luxury resort located along the stunning Red Sea. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the butchery section, preparing and cutting a variety of meats and fish according to the resort's high standards. Ensure that all meat and fish products are inspected for quality upon delivery, adhering to proper storage techniques to maintain freshness. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the butchery and preparation areas, following strict hygiene and safety protocols. Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and sous chefs to ensure efficient kitchen operations and to respond to special requests or menu changes. Participate in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and notifying superiors of necessary orders. Contribute to menu development by providing suggestions based on seasonal availability and quality of ingredients.
