We're looking for a passionate and dedicated entry-level chefs to assist in the preparation and presentation of authentic Indian and Arabic dishes in our bustling kitchen. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for Indian and Arabic dishes Follow recipes and cooking techniques as directed by senior chefs Maintain a clean and organized workstation Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation Participate in kitchen inventory and stock rotation Learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and recipes Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment Support the kitchen team during busy service periods Qualifications Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification Food safety certification Basic culinary skills with a focus on Indian and Arabic cuisines Proficiency in knife skills and kitchen equipment operation Knowledge of Indian and Arabic ingredients and cooking techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team player with good communication skills Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Basic English language proficiency Passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn
