Team members work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes professionalism, collaboration, and guest satisfaction.Role Description the Commis 1 and Commis 2 roles are full-time, on-site positions based at Kai Beach in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. These team members support the kitchen in daily food preparation, cooking, and plating according to established recipes and presentation standards. Responsibilities include assisting senior chefs, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, organizing ingredients and mise en place, and ensuring workstations are clean and well-stocked. The roles also involve following kitchen procedures, cooperating with colleagues during busy service periods, and contributing to a smooth and efficient operation.QualificationsStrong culinary skills, including basic cooking techniques and foundational Culinary Skills appropriate for Commis-level positions.
• Ability to perform Food Preparation tasks efficiently, including mise en place, portioning, and adherence to recipes.
• Commitment to strict Hygiene standards, food safety practices, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with chefs and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Relevant culinary education or certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, with reliability and punctuality.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and capacity to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
