Working alongside experienced chefs, you will gain hands on experience preparing high quality dishes while developing the skills and discipline required to succeed in a professional kitchen. What you will be doing... Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes to maintain Pastore’s high culinary standards Support senior chefs with daily mise en place and service preparation Maintain exceptional hygiene, organisation, and cleanliness within the kitchen Follow recipes and brand standards to ensure consistency and quality Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver smooth and efficient service Learn new techniques and develop your culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs Support stock rotation and basic inventory management practices Maintain attention to detail in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen organisation Qualifications Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant in a professional kitchen A genuine passion for cooking and learning the craft of Italian cuisine Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards A positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment Good communication and teamwork skills Availability to work across a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays Additional Information What’s in it for you...
