We are looking for enthusiastic foodies who are looking for a career in catering. We promise the best platform to getting onto the chef career ladder. From formal banquets in the Great Hall, to fairy tale weddings, lively themed dinners as well as luxury afternoon teas and dinners in our Knights Village hotel, our range of catering outlets is incredibly diverse. This role is specifically associated within the Knights Village Hotel.
Aramark provides world-class contract catering services, and we are very lucky to have some of the best Culinary and Catering talent that the UK has to offer working within our teams.
The role is a 10 hour minimal contract, working over a 7 working day week, with a mix of 6am - 2pm, 2pm- 10pm and occasionally 10am -6pm shifts. There are no split shifts. The average working hours for our commis chefs is approx. 30hrs depending on needs of the business.

Responsibilities

This is hands on position with bags of practical skills required. You’ll work alongside senior and career chefs who will lead and direct you on task to hone these skills and assist with your development in the catering industry. We have a proven track record of Commis chefs continuing onto higher and more responsible careers within catering.
