Our Head Chef Ben is currently seeking a passionate and motivated Commis Chef – Banquets to join our kitchen team. Job Description Perform general and specialised cooking duties within the banquet kitchen Ensure all food produced is prepared in line with kitchen recipes and presentation standards Assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within the kitchen and food outlets Support the kitchen team during banquet and event service operations Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen team members when required Contribute to a positive team environment while promoting flexibility and productivity within the kitchen Qualifications Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen role (banquet experience highly regarded) Experience working in high-volume kitchen environments Strong communication skills and professional presentation Ability to work under pressure and meet tight service deadlines Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Genuine passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences Additional Information Why Join Accor?
