Job Description As our Commis Chef in our Breakfast Team, you will be vital in keeping your kitchen section organized, efficient, and performing at a high standard, while consistently meeting all service expectations and brand requirements. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Prepare, cook, and present menu items to a high standard, following recipes and supporting smooth breakfast and banquets operations. Collaborate effectively with the team, assisting senior chefs, contributing to departmental goals, and ensuring strong cross-department relationships. Maintain and collaborate on stock rotation/ stock control processes to reduce wastage and maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards. Perform tasks within a timely manner to ensure high guest satisfaction. Qualifications Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, ideally you also have: A passion for delivering a wonderful culinary experience to our guests. Previous experience in a similar role or currently studying culinary Understanding of workplace health & safety principles. NZ Food Safety certificate or the willingness to obtain one. Preferred but not essential.
