JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis/Chef to Partie to join our culinary team. You will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team by assisting in food preparation, service and ensuring that the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a dynamic restaurant environment. Training will be provided but the ideal candidate needs to have the right attitude & the passion for this as a career.

SKILLS

  • Strong interest in culinary arts and a desire to learn from experienced chefs.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support chefs in cooking and assembling dishes according to the restaurant’s menu specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is prepared and stored safely.
  • Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to senior kitchen staff.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
