Ovolo Woolloomooloo is the brand’s flagship Australian hotel, located in Sydney’s idyllic harbourside suburb of… (dramatic drum roll) Woolloomooloo. Nestled in the heart of the popular wharf precinct, a short walk to the city’s central business district, the hotel is surrounded by a wide selection of much-loved dining and nightlife options. Ovolo Woolloomooloo features 100 guest rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, meeting rooms and events spaces, a swimming pool, and Bar Woolloomooloo.
THE GIG
We are currently on the lookout for our next Commis Chef to join our fun and exciting team at Ovolo! As Commis Chef, you will be Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will be a motivated person with a positive attitude who has an interest to progress your culinary career, develop your skills, and work within the varying styles of kitchen operations. You will be responsible for producing a wide range of quality products whilst exercising your knowledge of hygiene and food safety and maintaining our high guest service standards.
