JOB DESCRIPTION

• Report to the Section Chef and senior staff .
• Follow instructions and complete tasks to standard .
• Keep the kitchen clean, hygienic, and organised .
• Prepare ingredients and ensure they meet quality standards .
• Ensure food is consistent and meets specifications , with approval from senior staff.
• Assist with ordering and stock rotation .
• Prepare the mise en place sheet for briefing as instructed.
• Minimise food waste .
• Continuously improve culinary skills through training or self-study.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
• Follow the Staff Code of Conduct .

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Knows how to use kitchen equipment safely.
• Understands basic food hygiene and safety rules .
• Can work quickly and efficiently .
• Punctual, responsible, and well-disciplined .
