We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary operations by assisting in food preparation and ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to develop within the kitchen hierarchy.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.

  • Support senior chefs by following instructions and completing assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Help with the presentation of dishes, ensuring they meet the restaurant’s quality standards.
  • Participate in stock management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by mentoring new staff members as required.
