We are looking for a motivated and passionate Full-Time Commis Chef to join the PLG team at The Coach in Ringwood. You’ll focus on basic food preparation tasks, support experienced chefs, and maintain a clean and organised kitchen. This opportunity is ideal for kitchen professionals ready to kickstart their career!

What will my duties include?

  • Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
  • Support senior chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks, including food assembly and plating.
  • Ensure food and safety procedures are being followed.
  • Maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated section.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation.

The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs.
