Hi we are looking for a chef to join our team, its a fast passed kitchen with a lot of prep, and high volume food turnover.
This position is part time at the moment and can turn into a full time position. currently looking for about 25/ 30 hours.
La Choza is an award winning ( 2023 Eat Well for Less Bravo award amongst others) Mexican street food restaurant which has been open for 13 years with about 60 covers in summer.
There are spec books for all main meals and salsas, and we provide training with chillies and Mexican produce.
All team members have two days in a row of weekly and no crazy hours, usually one double shift a week.
We are looking for someone who is punctual , passionate , with a love for great food and a good team player.
Great team, great staff retention.
We can discuss wages depending on experience and what level of responsibility taken on, we also operate a tronc system with 10% service charge and tips being divided fairly through the team .
