As a Commis Chef you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across our outlets. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment, allowing you to develop your skills and build a strong foundation in culinary operations. You will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen standards, and support senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes that align with The Westin’s reputation for excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate activities within your section during busy period and supports team efforts ensuring smooth operations
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section
  • Ensure all food preparation and storage meets health, safety and hygiene standards
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other team members to ensure kitchen efficiency
  • Collaborate with the other F&B outlets to ensure efficiency
  • Innovate and contribute ideas for menu development and improvement
  • Anticipate and address guest needs, offering personalized recommendations and maintain a focus on guests satisfaction
  • Uphold brand values and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service
