ABOUT THE ROLE As a Commis Chef at House of NYNN, you will be responsible for executing the culinary operations in your section. You will work closely with the Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste. Your key responsibilities will include the following: Prepare and cook dishes within your assigned section, following standardized recipes and specifications. Ensure proper food storage, handling, and hygiene practices are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen team members to ensure efficient and timely production of dishes. Adhere to quality and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a luxury dining establishment, preferably in fine dining or a 5* hotel kitchen Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Eligible to work in the EU, either by holding an EU passport or having appropriate work authorization WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE Be part of a team where creativity, individuality and passion for culinary arts are celebrated.
