What You’ll Be Doing

  • Cook and present high-quality dishes with attention to detail
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of recipes and techniques
  • Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring readiness and preparation
  • Follow instructions, delegate small tasks and cross-check completion
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and record-keeping
  • Monitor stock and assist with inventory management
  • Support productivity, teamwork and positive kitchen culture
  • Assist with food cost reporting and wage control under guidance

What You Bring

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Commis Chef (fast-paced kitchen preferred)
  • Genuine passion for cooking, learning and delivering memorable experiences
  • A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
  • Strong communication and willingness to support others
  • Desire to grow within a successful restaurant group
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery OR at least 3 years’ experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Southeast Asian cuisine is highly regarded — but not essential if you have the right attitude!
