To deliver all this and more, we’re looking for a Commis Chef - Pastry/Bakery with a passion for presentation, dedication to flavour and commitment to setting high standards from workspace to table and beyond. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: ● Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, breads, and bakery items as per standard recipes and quality guidelines ● Support daily mise en place, including measuring ingredients, mixing, baking, decorating, and plating ● Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all pastry and bakery products ● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry/bakery section, equipment, and storage areas ● Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times ● Monitor stock levels, handle ingredients properly, and minimize wastage ● Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service What We need from you: ● Basic experience or training in pastry, baking, or culinary arts preferred ● Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and dessert preparation ● Attention to detail and creativity in presentation ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure ● Good teamwork and communication skills ● Willingness to learn and develop skills in pastry and bakery.
